Matthew Schembri
Matthew first started paddling in 2006 and was Malta's first Junior representative, with his first competition being in 2009.
Matthew has also coached a number of athletes ranging from children to adults.
Matthew's best results include:

2022- Finishing 200th out of 385 Male athletes in the Ocean Racing World Championships in Esponende, Portugal.

2022- Finishing 14th place in the OC-Ostseecup in Warnemünde, Germany.

2022- Record paddle from Malta to Sicily in a SS1, paddling a total of 93.3km in 11:06:24.

2020- Round Gozo record (35KM) in 3:09:17. In SS2 with Chris Camilleri.

2019- 3rd Place in 1000m in Sicilian Regional Races.

2018- National Records in K2 with Samuel Borg in 200m,500m and 1000m.

2017- Winner of Andersson Challenge. Round Malta Race in 3 stages. Total of 76.83km in 7hrs 11 min.

2010- National junior Records in 200m, 500m and 1000m.

2009- 4th place in K2 200m in Cyprus Regatta with Chris Camilleri.

2007- completed round Malta in 14hrs 45 min at 14 years old.
Christopher Camilleri
Chris has been paddling since 2003 and was one of the pioneers of kayak and surfski racing.
Chris has defended his national title countless and has all the national records in flat water racing. He has remained active in the sport and also helps other paddlers reach their limit.

Luca Pace
Luca started kayaking in 2005 at the tender age of 13 years old. He had a hiatus in paddling for 10 years and returned in 2020 with a bang.
After 3 months of training he managed to complete round Gozo (35km) in a very respecful 4hrs and 26 min.
Luca is very professional in everything he does and always makes sure things are in ship shape.
